The Solana ecosystem recently suffered a massive hack and has resulted in at least 7,767 Solana crypto wallets being victimized according to a statement from Solana via their Twitter account. Solana also mentioned that for now there is no case evidence that hardware wallet users are victims.
The Co-Founder of Solana via his personal Twitter account stating his opinion that this hack was a supply chain attack targeting applications on both Android and iOS, especially the Phantom and Slope wallets. In this attack, hackers were able to steal Solana coins ($SOL) as well as USD Coin ($USDC) tokens and in some cases Tether ($USDT) was also targeted.
