Socios.com’s $100M Investment In FC Barcelona
The Socios.com platform announced its investment in Barça Studios of $100 million, equivalent to a 24.5% stake in Barça Studios. Barça Studios is the business unit that leads the creation of NFT and metaverse projects, as well as determines the strategy for FC Barcelona’s entry into the digital world.
FC Barcelona stated that the sale of shares from Barça Studios has been agreed by the General Assembly of FC Barcelona Members since October 23, 2021.
